tone
I'm really digging the crisp clean guitar tones. I do, however, find the underlying distorted rhythm guitar a bit too "fuzzy". I think that may be part of my natural bias against single coil pick-ups though ;-). I tend to prefer the thicker growl of a humbucker.

Overall, this track is well arranged and has a nice drive to it. I like the changes and especially like the intro where the clean guitar has excellent articulation.

LP Jr.
I had one once.

And really would like a LP Jr. with a Hot Rod P90 in it, but not at the moment, don't you know.

I was jamming WAY too much signal into GB for the envelope to provide much room for definition - it (GB) was brand new to me - hadn't found many of the controls yet.

I'm excited about the 6100 and the 2x12 soon to appear on some TMI offerings! eh?

vbr,

Stylish
I dunno if I was around at the time of your first issue - I'v recently 'reissued' most of my songs as I had a complete change in life and at the beginning I thought well I wont be on the internet ever again. Now I'm here I want to reissue all of my songs yet again but with proper ID3 tags.Oh well - too late again, don't want to delete the comments - just have to write new and better songs! with better ID3 Tags.Anyway - what a great track - I don't usually find much use for phase - but it really carrried the rhythm guitar on a gliding journey through this.I dunno why but it made me think of the Francis Ford Coppola films of which I'm always raving on about - Rumblefish,The Outsiders,American Graffiti. The second time I played it really loud here in the middle of nowhere and it really kicked my ass into pouring myself another pint to lean back and relax and listen.Cheers - great guitar riffs and breaks

PHASES
Heh, heh.

One need not use a phaser when the phase cancellation (which I didn't really know about then) starts blocking certain parts of the spectrum when the EQ Envelope is too full.

This was kind of "alright, Everybody Now", going on; the rhythm guitar drowns in the onslaught.

Broad Brush, not so much Paint as it were.

Thank you for the Crit Comment, Brother (I'm still making it through your playlist, but I'll be there.)

Very Best Regards,

Cooper

Brilliant artwork
It's so nice to see so many people on MJ really making an effort with artwork. Oh, the music...

It's not the style I listen to normally. I need vocals with my R&R. But it's great stuff all the same - as I'm sure you don't need me to tell you. I'm seeing that girl in the picture driving a Mustang through the desert dust...

Oh, HER?
She works part-time for the Muse.

Yeah, the road east out of Oji, heading for the High Plain. She has a beer between her thighs.

radio?
he he, i was putting this one on, and went on surfing some other site while this was playing in the background. As I got absorbed in something else, I suddenly became aware of the rockn'roll tune playing, and thought for a moment I had tuned into a cool radiostation...

So, this is good stuff! You give that strat some beating for sure... but it doesn't seem to hurt. It sounds sweet:)

Cool
Reminded me a little of the Greatful Dead but with more guts. I heard Jerry in some of those passing tones.

Coop, this is just great - I don't remember it, but I will next time! The bass line is perfect, and I just like everything about the guitars and drums too. I can hear this with a loud and raw vocal over it - maybe Allanah or someone - but I also love it as-is.

What a rocker - the Beater sure wrked hard here.

Peace,
Neil
