Nearly missed this one, and I am so glad I didnt, A very reflective track that had me off to somehwere else... Stunning and FAR TOO SHORT.... I really hope you add to this track, The flute is very tender and the guitar is mellow. a great combinaton. Slimmie |

beautiful acoustic I truly enjoy the sound of the acoustic guitar, and you play it very well! It comes across excellently on this all-too- short track. The flute sound combines well with the guitar. I like your sense of melody with it, all the little flourishes are very idiomatic to the instrument. I must be perfectly honest and say that I would rate this song higher if it were longer! I do hope that you extend it further in another version, because this track has great possibilities! |

More, more! I love this kind of acoustic guitar playing. Absolutely. I agree with Cameron, if this were longer, to complete the journey you have begun, I would give it highest marks. And perhaps one more look at the flute part could take a little more MIDI out of the performance (cuz you did such a great job adding real articulations in more phrasings). I have never used SampleTank, but the amazing guitar sound you achieved has convinced me to take a look. Excellent demo. Oh, and by the way, you were, indeed, taking me to wonderful place with this song. Just needed more time to travel there. |

Terrific sound Probably shouldn't have listened to it so early in the day - feel really quite chilled out now - oh well! Fabulous playing from both sides, wonderful sound from that guitar! |

Ah so Japanese cowboy? Is it just me? Perfect performance. Great song, pro-level talent and a tight demonstration of your level of sophistication. Is there a meaning in there? It's almost sad to think that a song with this kind of "feeling" is bereft of any "feeling". Know what I mean? Al hit it on the head when he said what he said: "Short but sweet." Sweet. |

command of craft I agree the guitar is so well played and the articulation in the flute is often good though sometimes the MIDI source shows through. Only so much can really be done about that. I'd love for it to be longer as well, as then the 'journey' could have more direction. |

Beautiful... elegant guitar and flute. Yes, too short. But this is sweet like fine chocolat. You are a musical artist. Jack |

Too short? I suppose I'd just be a broken record if I mentioned it, but this is the kind of song you want to wrap yourself in. so being short is almost as though that blanket's been pulled away from you too quickly. Takes me back to when I was listening to alot of Bruce Becvar and other New Age music. Very wonderful emotion. calm, peace and contentment with a hint of pondering. |

short but nice Nice piece, good mix, well recorded. My only gripe was it ended before I was ready. |

wow The instrumentation is amazing. I wonder how much time it takes to really perfect the abilities like this. I spent too much time socializing as a kid I guess. This is very short and very sweet. You are to be commended! |

My thoughts Hi. I'm new to the forum and found your wonderful composition by random choice. Thank God I did. There is the beautiful Japanese tradition of Haiku in poetry and Haiga as well where a Haiku and an image are presented together as one. I believe simplicity in visuals and brevity in speech and tone can be powerful things. Your piece proves this. Just enough. Sure it COULD be longer, but it doesn't have to be. Yes, a Haiku as an instumental composition works quite nicely. Kudos. |

Thanks I went and listened to the tracks you played on for Ronnie Montrose. Very nice work. As a coincidence I had recently been listening to some of his solo work. I didn't have Territory but I had Speed Of Sound, on an album, remember those. Your tracks here are very nice and easy to listen to. Great melodies. Thanks for sharing your experience. |

Been around... here for a while now. Love MacJams. Appreciate our gracious hosts. Just now getting around to hearing some of the songs that have been here for a while. Finding this one was a gem. What a gorgeous track! The flute reminds me of my Native American heritage. It compliments the soft acoustic perfectly. My only critique is it was too short. I want more. I could literally listen to this all day long. |

peaceful wonderfully relaxing tune-slows the world down a bit. the flute & guitar complement each other extremely well-i would never have thot to put those two instruments together. as others have mentioned-too short! i've listened to this 4 times while figuring out what to type in this little box, haha. (& enjoyed each listen) would like to hear this become a full-blown song |

what can I say... it is short but its placid and reminds me of camping out and waking up in the cold air of the morning and seeing the mist on the wet grass. nice. |

Great guitar! That's played on a keyboard? That's very, very good! You won't hear me say the same about the flute. The attack is quite unrealistic. I would go into more detail about the tone if it would be of any use to you, but SampleTank (and various SonicReality products) simply sound quite unrealistic in places. This is one of those places. Oh, nice composition! I wouldn't have minded listening to it a bit longer. |

I Don't Get It... Beyond your keyboard technique... which is both sensitive and masterful... such a wonderful sense of melody. Elemental sighs from the heart --- and the soul. Beautiful stuff. How ANYONE who claims to be a musician, or who claims to appreciate music could possibly rate your work so low is beyond me. It's absurd. Having listened to your entire catalog now, I will do what I can to rectify that. |

too short! Two Things: 1. It's too short. I want to hear more. 2. I want to hear it with a real flute. That would be posiively haunting. |

Serene... ...and soothing! It has an ethnic-meets-country sound quality to it! The Asian-sounding flute compliments the Western drama of the guitar... 8-8-9-8! Were it longer, I would have thrown in a couple more of 9's. |

beautiful Nice coupling of flute and guitar. The chord progression is very natural. Very nicely recorded. I really like the harmonics at the end. Would love to hear a longer version. |

Beautiful Simple gorgeous melodies like these make me think of relaxing sunny days with no agenda. Hmmm... haven't had one of those for twenty years! Sounds great and natural to me, are those really MIDI instruments?? Regardless of how this was constructed, it's really a fine little uplifting piece. |

2200 Hits! Wow! That's a lot of hits! I'm checking out older submissions from some of my favorite MacJammers, and I must say, I'm impressed with this one. It's got a really contented/mellow/expansive vibe to it, and it's so nice I could see this turning into a suite of some kind, or at least a more extended composition. Excellent job! The other thought I had is "I'd love to jam with this guy" since guitar is my main instrument, and I love improvising, but then I read in the description that this is apparently a sampled guitar??? I don't believe it! Wow. I never would have guessed. Hope to hear a new submission from you soon! 8-10=9-9 |

Special What a gem! The patience to give us just the (beautiful!) guitar, with nice pauses, for a relatively long time given the short total length of the piece was the mark of someone who knows what they%u2019re doing. For me it created great, fun anticipation for the flute in subsequent listens (there were many),. When the flute does join, it%u2019s also beautiful and also patient, taking a very pleasant but somehow purposeful wander%u2026 till it decides to soar up to the second highest, then the highest note %u2013 holding both, then pausing%u2026oooh, goose bumps man!, and that%u2019s rare cause I%u2019m extremely picky%u2026. As the flute wanders on, it takes me some time to recover. When it%u2019s done, I%u2019m miles away%u2026 thanks |

got me just perusing some others comments and I can see the vote was for longer :-) I'd second that. A delightful journey none the less, I didn't realize the flute was midi until late into the track. Very skillfully done. Noticed you haven't had anything new up for a awhile & I hope the muses are still with you! Best to you and yours this Holiday Season. |

Great! I'm wondered why this piece is not loaded with fans, this is one of the very best short pieces ever heard here. The guitar sound with the flute is just superb. Just another masterpiece. KUDOS for the work, I could listen to this all the day! Another great journey. Take Care - Yeman A. Al-Rawi |
