Great number, guys! I'm digging that Trans-Atlantic groove, John. Great playing, Joaquim. You definitley have a wonderful future in music ahead of you. Keep up the good work. Good job, you two. |

Not Bad I like it. Was it a person to person collab or over the internet (I'm assuming the latter). The only comment I'd make is that there were a couple spots that the instruments seemed out of step with the drums. Other than that, good job. |

Yowza! Ooh, but this is a tasty little number. Fantastic horn playing. And your thrilling, trilling piano is always delicious. Just a wonderful collab, you two! |

Live feel Very nice. Sounds so much like a live recording. Great playful piano- solid bass and wow, live trumpet. Can't say I've heard much of that during my year at MacJams. |

diggin' this groove! Gotta love that Ivory! Nice job all around, and the mix feels live. I'd like to actually hear a track of some people being served drinks in the background. Is there such a loop? It would just add to the "live" sound. And a little applause at the solo breaks. Snaps! |

Jazz? I suppose it's in that border territory - definitely one of the better instrumentals I've heard at MacJam's (hey, I'm not even yelling "Get a singer") |

Very Nice Hello John - Once again, very nice work. The trumpet sounds great and I really like the interplay between the two instruments. There are just a couple of points where the live and canned parts are not on the same beat, but it doesn't distract very much from the performance. Overall great job - nice feel, I like the spaces in between the solos. So many times, I have to remind myself that I don't have to fill up every measure with notes. Sometimes, silence is a better choice, and I like your choices here. |

I love it! Wow, I can picture myself, along with my moll, gliding along the dance floor, a Chesterfield and a very dry gin martini! Very cool stuff, I want to hire a hot housekeeper who'll vacuum and dust along to jazz like this in a very skimpy outfit |

I like it! I love swingin blues like this, great job. I like the fact that you can collab with someone across the ocean. Shows the power of this site to cross all barriers. |

Trans Atlantic Blues Great live trumpet! Silky smooth piano (as usual). The most amazing part, however, is the overseas e-collaboration that produced it. wow. |

Cool Jams Part of me was wanting more players in the band but it was so cool the way you were talking to each other that I left that thinking behind. This is definitely how nations ought to be talking to each other. Great vibe and a great collab. |

Man, this is super-tasty! That's real trumpet, isn't it? This is such a nice, fluid piece, it just takes me away - I could be sitting in the cafe in the French Quarter right about now, digging on this act and wanting to buy the record (I do see that you have a record out - stuff like this on it? You've made a sale) - my only kvetch is the drums, which I realize are canned, and the only reason that's a bummer is because everything else is so incredibly and wonderfully sweet! That said, the drums are well done, being what they are - though I would've loved to have heard a big ol' sustained ending - and if you're like me, programming or trying to loop those things is a real bear and comes off more fakey than not, so maybe it was best to end it as you did. All I'm saying is - this is a great "sit back and dig it" track - would love to hear it with real drums on a disc sometime! Awesome job, great colloboration!
