Yeah, Good!
Man, this has the beginnings of something super cool. You could surely develop it into a full scale production. I hear lots of melody, potential chord changes, and the bass/drum groove is right on.

I'm wondering why
this hasn't received more attention. Good stuff as always dchap. You can tell it's an early work on your part because it doesn't have quite the polish that most of your stuff has, but it's fun and energizing nonetheless. I like the dynamic changes too. Very well done with your riffing over the simple main theme. Liked the strings too.

Different
I like the spacey feeling...good sound the cymbal is a little much for
me..but the quailty is great. I would love to hear a girl singing over this....

Strung out thoughts
I find is piece interesting. It starts out being one thing - a guitarist picking out a groove, but just when you think you've got it all figured out, ah hah, those violins suddenly appear - and, after a bit of a struggle, they manage to take over the story. It's protean, like a heroic fight between a guitar titan and the orchestra gods. That dramatic pause tells you who's winning: the violins have taken over the groove and they're now completely in control!

Of course, this mythological encounter is just something that popped into my head - so I thought I'd post it. One doesn't need a literal interpretation to enjoy this band battle.

Musically, the one observation I'd make is that the second half is much more inventive than the beginning part, in that the violins are zipping around with a wide variety of sounds and movement, compared to the guitar which sticks with the basic pattern. Perhaps it would be interesting to see the guitar strings challenge the violin strings to a duel?

Or maybe not. I recognize the opening is there to set the pace and establish the context, which allows the orchestra to come in and powerfully expand the musical space. It works - so maybe tinkering with the formula is not such a good idea.

Nice and busy
I love the layers and all the fun things happening in the headphones. Cool tones. I'd love to hear a huge slapping bass kick in but it's still great. The strings near the end are wicked. Tres cool.
