blue kings very nice piece, John. You are right about this carol crying out for jazz treatment, and you have also added a blue note to it that is very sweet. |

Very beautiful composition. Beautiful harmony. Melody of gentle high pitched sound. Melody of low temperature of tension. Profound sound of Drums. |

It's all been said really… … but that's what I get for coming late to the party. If I go to a bar anytime over the Christmas period I will expect to hear something this great. Thanks for posting, John. |

I'll download this and add it to my 'just a little different Christmas stuff' playlist. Thanks for posting it. As always, interesting and well-crafted jazz variations. |

very nice My second listen to your music and I like it very much. I really enjoy your chord voicings and style. I enjoy the funk style at the intro, but kind of miss it once you hit the verse. You go into more of a lighter jazz flavor. I would have liked to hear the funkish style going throughout. I like the drums but it seems a little too harsh of an intro getting into it and they seem a little bright in the mix. Did you play the drums in or use a loop? Very much enjoy the ending run and last chords. I really like your choices for chord structure and harmonies. very clever chord subsitutions as well. nice stuff - thanks |

really liked it! That's one of the best jams I ever heard.. and it's all done with no microphones. I really liked it! I listened to some of your jams and I can see that you are very experienced. I'd like to know what's the name of this christmas song. nuke |

wonderful variation very nice variaiton on a well known carol |

i like the song, piano is a great thing. good piano players always amaze me. i can make cool stuff randomly, but to have it organized and be able to really play takes alot of practice and talent. learning songs by other people to me takes the most skill in music. i like the upbeatness of the song where the drums kick in.
