remixing You seem to be very good at remixes! I have never attempted such a thing. I'm not sure how to even go about it...seems like magic to me. :-) Both this one and the last one were very good. |

Hey, this is certainly an improvement on the basic track by Mhz. For
starters you've made a huge improvement by opening up the space.
How the two synths have a sort of spatial counterpoint going on
between them is fantastic, all the sounds are nice and clear, the
movement of the high hats and shakers is good (though it gets a little
annoying eventually) and theres more of a reverb space in there this
time (though I think it could've been done a little more).
I also like how you've tried to mix up the structure a bit which is a fair
effort considering its just the one riff. I do however think its still a
little empty. A low bass texture underneath everything (nothing that
would interfer with the synths) would've made me happy and since
you're doing this as a colab.... I reckon you've got artistic lisence add
heaps more to it if you want, be it just a couple of background textures
to fill it in a little or say a higher (different sounding) melody over the
top at times.
Good work over all, I just think you've limited yourself a little here.
