I like this Your voice sounds quite nice and Phyllis is a great blend. This is a terrific song to hear. I am quite pleased of your talents, you are a nice addition to MJ. Nice fingerpicking, and good recording of it as well. Thanks for sharing |

I'm glad I put on my headphones... ...because I missed Ed's WFPCG Stool the first time around. Does he know Poppy's dog tags, by any chance and/or would he be interested in collaborating with them? Joking aside, the production sounds much tighter on the headphones. Through my crapulent eMac speakers, the vocal seemed to float about the guitar, but through my iPod phones it's just perfect. This song just takes me back to 70's and the road trips we used to take in my dad's wood-paneled Plymouth station wagon. It brings to mind dozing off in the back seat, dappled sun coming through the leaves as we laze along the road. Very nice again, Ed. Whatever happened to Phyllis? She's perfect for your music. Get her some good coffee and put her in front of a mic. I've listened to this four times now. I suppose that makes it download time, especially since I'm a coffee and tea person, myself. |

Soo lovely! A beautiful soothing song! Very well performed! And you are such a good singer! I think the world need this kind of friendliness that permeate your music! Your song mediate peace and trust. That is a great gift to the world! A minor issue would be that I would have preffered to compress the guitar somewhat less. I think acoustic guitar generally need compressor, but at some amount it starts sounding a little strange. PS... I feel symphaty for the "choice of" creaking stool. Talkin about myself ... how come I spend a lot effort making tunes, rehearsing and trying to get good recording gear, and then simply keep forgetting to manage a non-creaking sitting environment? (Thanks for the reminder). DS. |

Easy rollin' folk tune Very nice track Ejh,to my ears a bit reminiscent of Gene Clarke (who I love!). Lovely female harmonies on the chorus... Nice to see the Boss BR-8 in use! Keep them coming Steve |

beautiful Wonderful lyrics, for starts. What a lovely line, "Every day another reason to love you". The verses put the sentiment of that line in context very nicely. I really like the sound of your voice. It's like a cross between a classic country music voice and a more contemporary folk rock voice. And as I've said before, your voice and Phyllis's compliment earch other's really well. Very nice guitar playing too. The overall sound quality is full and clear though there is a bit of noise in there. Personally, I think I'd go with a dryer mix (less reverb). Of course, it's possible that after trying that that I'd find I liked it more with the reverb. But it's something I'd try because I think it would sound more intimate and maybe more contemporary. Lovely song. |

Nice one Ejh! Really like the guitar sound you get (and the vocals aren't half bad either). Lovely set of lyrics too. Keep em coming! |

This song, too, is another reason Such a wonderfully balanced folk tune. And your delivery is so honest, so well done, with wonderful female folk backing vocals adding yet another kind of balance to the track. This is what makes folk music so great, one of my true loves. Another reason, this song. |

What a swell heart you have... In your music and in any of the numerous ways that I have had the pleasure of running accross your words of choice, I am always left pondering...what a nice guy... This is my first opportunity to hear your music and I am not at all surprised to hear that it is SIMPLY, perfect. The lyrics, vocals and melody are all just avwonderful. Nice guitar work and the song as a whole, is nicely structured. You have left A very nice dance of words playing inside my head.... Thank you Grace is the word... Cydniko P.S. Sorry everyone that I haven't been here to be supportive, I'm in the midst of a big time relocation, but will return soon hopefully |

secrets of happiness are sometimes revealed in songs on this website. Bronco has done it with "I'm a Happy Guy." This song, I believe, contains the real secret of happiness: gratitude. As I listen to this, I consider it a prayer of the finest sort. One that we are allowed to listen in on and participate. Fine work, Ed. Worthy of someone hovering at the top of TLTSNBN (The List That Shall Not Be Named.) 9-9-9-9 p.s. again, nice harmonies from Phyllis. |

Nice! I decided to support the Participation Picks, because it's so great to be contributing member of the community, and you're at the top of the list. I hadn't realized I'd hear such a lovely song. You have a wonderful voice, very soothing and comfortable with a melody. I'm glad I didn't miss this song! |

I so agree with somebody's comment that it takes you back to the 70's and right into the backseat of the station wagon. It has a very lovely innocence about it, and very easy on the ears. Good lyrics and overall feel. Keep up these great tunes Ed! Cheers, D. |

Well done! This is good folk music. The guitar playing is very clean I think and the recording is done well. The harmonies, as everyone mentioned below, are very nice indeed. Starts, maintains, and ends very well. Great job! One of the best I've heard so far on MJ. |

Right stuff Now this is a pleasant love song, specially liked the part using the moon, lucky penny, window into heaven images. And any one combining coffee and true love, that's happiness. Nice creakin' guitar. |

Sweet, sweet song Love it, Ed. You know what else I love? Cable! This is the first song I've listened to with the new connection and it is more than worthy. Love the simplicity of the recording and I love the simplicity of the line "Every day another reason to love you". Sweet stuff. |

perfect seasoned writing... the bridge arrives just when the ears are ready... lyrics are great "copper moon" penny on the fly... this is the stuff I love... production works well, everhthing is ballanced and clear... but your voice shines on this peice.. your tone quality is great, your voice has full rich lows without being to bassy, while still ful in the mid and in the highs... I think yours is an easy voice to record |

Another Reason " hope one day to do a more polished and pristine version, without finger noise and whatnot," I LOVE hearing a guitarist's fingers slide on the strings. It puts me right in the space with the artist. What a great song! It's gorgeous! Thanks so much! Stacey |
