What exactly does explicit mean and what type of lyrics are explicit?
should you mark a song "explicit" if it contains words like fuck, shit and so on? (sorry if i'm to explicit;-)
Is a song explicit if its about drugs or sex or where do you draw the line?
Is the term really necessary these days...?
If you don't mark a song with "explicit" content as explicit when you upload it, will it be removed or what?
Thanks

It shows were everyone stands on this matter, if I may say so. Your unlabeled songs won't be removed, or you won't be made to eat soap: it's more like that people who don't want to listen to "explicit" songs, would be slightly disappointed if you mislead them into doing so. By the way, Joe strummer will be delighted to know old punks never die ;) |
Dadai | August 14, 2007 10:39:16 AM It's a label to use by way of a courtesy to let others know that there is some content in a particular song that some may find offensive. It's not something for anyone to get judgmental about or feeling put upon... it's simply a courtesy one extends to the fellow members of the music community. |
