Subject: Midi sounds with MBox in PT LEPages: [1] | |

![]() Gigmeister | May 21, 2007 3:49:45 PM I recently picked up Pro Tools LE with an original MBox for my iMac 1.25 ghz running OS 10.4 and it does a great job with digital audio. However, it came with the Ignition Pack and I want to use Reason Adapted as my sound source for GM files for drums, keys, etc. How do you activate the sounds in each channel to play correctly upon playback? Thanks. |

You make a new track (File->New Track). Make sure it is a stereo aux input track. 2. You go to the Mix window and click on multi-channel insert (you have 5 per track),then select Instrument then "Reason Adapted for Digidesign (stereo). (Plugin->Instrument->Reason). Now Reason should open up and you can scroll down to Redrum. Just hit the "Run" button on Redrum and start populating the row of 16 white squares with the beat you want. You can build a beat with up to 64 steps. I hope this helps. Let me know if you are looking for something else. BTW, I am running Pro Tools LE v.6.4 with Reason Adapted for Digidesign v.2.5 on Mac OS 10.3.9. (You might have a newer version of Reason, but that won't change the way you insert an instrument into a track. Peace, Dragonas |

This bounces them further down and (eventually) off the list. If we work together on this they'll disappear really quickly. Whatever you do, don't reply to their posts - it just encourages them!
