merlconn13 | May 08, 2007 11:01:55 AM i have reason and i know u can't just record audio. heres what i have.. reason 3.0, keyboard conrtoller, mpd24, and i have a old ass keyboard but it has midi ports. is there a way i can use that old keyboard to hook up to the laptop (with no midi ports)and record whatever sounds i make with it, then import it to reason?? |
![]() stooey | May 08, 2007 11:32:31 AM You can pick up a USB MIDI interface that connects the MIDI from the keyboard to the USB on the laptop. I got one for $29 Canadian a couple of years ago. |

You'll probably need some adapters available at any local Radio Shack. Then use some sort of audio recording software to record whatever sounds you make with your old ass keyboard. |
