Peter has the most Wonderful dialect as He's raised in the very south of Sweden -also where I am born- I just LOVE IT :):):) (I was 1 moving from there so I never got to talk it:( lol )
The very First Years I was with them especially The Very First:):):)fixing /arranging for the Musicfestival . I was the one picking FLOWERS... L O L Cause it was /is out in a GREAT Barn the stage-now stages- and We filled it with Flowers :) Donno how it is now but the first Years it usually was Big Moonshine:) Two Great American Musicians were ther, Friends of Peters. He'd met them travelling.

Annes Sisters live up here, Karin is one Great Limestonesculpture Maker :):):) & a very Best Friend . Britt is also Very close but we see each other seldom . 3 SISTERS !!

Mundekulla Musicfestival, 16th -19 th of aug, 2007

Mundekulla Musicfestival attracts approximately 400 people and is being held for the 9th year in a row. It contains many exciting events with almost 50 splendid artists and workshopleaders that express and share the mutual longing to live in love, peace and understanding on Earth. This is being shared through heartdance, singing, dancing, music, open stage, creativity, ceremonies, Sweatlodge, Yoga, Meditation, stillness, sharings, overtonesinging, chanting, djembe, didjeriduu. The musicians express not only motivation and inspiration for sharing their unique gifts and musical talent, but also true and deep aspiration for singing about Oneness and Love and how we can open up more to our true selves.

We made the Europe trip mostly because of the Mundekulla event. My son, Wen (12,5 years old) really wanted to participate fully and we both had a great time. What I learned last year has been very important for me and that´s why we made the effort again. And it´s wonderful that Wen also enjoyed it so much he already said that he wants to come again next year. I understand and really appreciate what you have brought to the world.

Background
Peter and Anne are the initiators for the Mundekulla Musicfestival that will be held for the eigth year in a row.

Peter made his living from playing music between 1986-1996 and had over 1000 gigs inbars, on the streets, parties and so on. After a while he got fed up with smoky bars and, alcoholdrinking audience as well as loud music which also resulted in that got tinnitus in 1996. This was one of the reasons why he moved to a small cottage in the woods of Mundekulla in the summer of 1997. He spent two years in solitude and hereby he gained a stronger mental health and new inspiration. During the period of one year he wrote more than 200 new songs of peace that by today has increased to over 400.

Anne on had enough of the big city and a life closer to nature became reality for her in 1998 as she moved from Stockholm where she had lived for 14 years, to the island of Öland. During her time in Stockholm she attended a great number of courses in personal developement, gave own courses under the theme "Everyone can sing". She also did art-exhibitions and arranged popular drugfree parties and music-gatherings, with content of peacefulness and meditation.

Our vision
The idea with Mundekulla Musicfestival is that we want to create a nice, drugfree space for the whole family where different forms of creativity is being used to work for a positive future through peaceful actions.
We are not inclined to attract wellknown artists but rather show the infinite potential that resides inside of every human being. All are indirectly co-creaors of the festival through the opportunity to attend workshops in differnt areas such as; heartdance, native American ceremonies, sweatlodge, djembe, didjeridoo, yoga, meditation, open stage and much more.
The musicfestival is yearly visited by some hundreds of people, mainly from the scandinavian countries. Some of these people have just recently started their spiritual journey and some have attended many similar festivals and courses over the years. All visitors as well as the musicians and workshopleaders creates an almost mystical athmosphere together where we indeed can remind ourselves that every meeting is a divine one. It´s not the amount of visitors that is crucial but that we are gathered for the sake of the good and it surely makes the festival an unforgettable event for all that are inclined to participate. We warmly invite you to join!

History
Since the first festival back in 1999, we’ve arranged 20 bigger events in Mundekulla such as Health fairies, Buildingcare and ecological construction fairies, the Musicfestivals and a yearly Peacecamp as well as well over 50 different courses considering personal and spiritual growth. These events has attracted people in the nearby villages as well as foreign visitors, Where as some events has been attended by up to 2000 people/day. Through these arrangements we learned how to care for and offer a nice and safe atmosphere for our visitors. The whole “Elmberg-family” (mother, father brothers and sisters) are deeply engaged in all that it takes place in Mundekulla. This has resulted in that we have the gained the ability to reach out to all ages and also many different groups in the soceity.
