So, the other day, I was thinking: who says a collaboration has to be between two people?
I thought it would be fun to have a collab and have lots of people work on it and add things to it. Sound interesting/good idea? I'm not sure.

![]() drakonis | April 11, 2007 4:14:11 PM A collaboration amongst LOTS of people... is a lot of fun, and a lot of work for the final guy/gal who gets to try and mix it all together. This has been done a number of times here on Macjams already, with great results (so, you have a good idea :-) You may want to listen to these two mega-collabs to start with (there are likely more, often done for birthdays): SlimGirlThat which has at least 30 Macjammers in it, mixed by Alimar, and Happy BDay Drakonis which has 16, mixed by Roxylee. ttfn, Drakonis |
![]() LightTronics | April 11, 2007 4:32:22 PM Awsome! Sounds like good idea. First we need to decide the oproximate genre and key and whos in and ect. So, I'm probably not going to be able to start out the song, unless it's electronica sort of thing. |
![]() DOCTORBIZARRE | April 11, 2007 4:34:31 PM Here's a track alot of people worked on. Do yourself a favor and check it out! http://www.macjams.com/song/22941 |

Like a guitar piece with drums for instance... find a drummer to add his track, then farm out the bass and so on... I've worked on several multi colabs, check out "Empty Space", "Love Her So" and "Weather" to name a few. |

Happy Birthday Drakonis is a perfect example of how well this could work! Roxylee did that one - check it out! |
