January 31, 2007 6:47:21 PM Hi. To my knowledge Reason does not import nor create MP3 files. Here is a simple way to get audio into Reason. I don't know at what level of understanding you are at with Reason so this is about as simple as it gets. You need to convert the MP3 into either a wav or aiff file. You will also need to know the tempo of the file. Yoe then set Reasons tempo to that. Then open Redrum and open one of the slots and import the file (audio) Then when you trigger that redrum channel you will hear the audio file.If you don't know the tempo you can get close by counting how mant beats are in a ten second length then multiply by.....You guessed it SIX. patrock | January 31, 2007 7:21:07 PM Ok, now is there anyway to cut the audio file down to only certain parts in reason or do I have to do that using another program? Also can I record vocals in reason? |
January 31, 2007 7:32:51 PM I don;t get you. You say you use Reason in your Logic post but don't seem to know anything about reason either. What gives?? I'm a bit suspect. Please explain. T
February 01, 2007 1:38:28 AM Reason is a synth/sampler/drum machine. It does not record audio. Try checking the manual. cough cough...

patrock | February 01, 2007 2:17:00 PM I have been working in reason for just about 3 weeks, and I got a free copy of logic. I am reasonably proficient in Reason but nowhere near where I'd like to be. |
