![]() woodguy32 | January 10, 2007 2:11:09 PM Im pretty sure it is all the same artist.. but using different names...wow.. seems like alot of work to me remembering all those log-ins..hehe reason is one cool app... |
![]() Peter Greenstone | January 10, 2007 2:17:20 PM Yeah, does appear to be all the same person. Even seeing them post the same song title on several accounts. And they're all fans of each other. Not sure what the point is. Maybe it's some form of performance art. |
![]() drakonis | January 10, 2007 2:19:32 PM No actually, it seems it is less sinister... if you do some private investigation, you'll see that Macjams is the proud playground of a school teacher (lewandle) and her Jr. High school music(?) class. Personally, I think this is pretty cool, and I hope Macjammers keep this in mind if/when they comment on these kids' attempts at using music software and public web sites. ttfn, Drakonis |

Following a comment back to the teacher. Finally it clicked. I think it's great that the class is using MJ as a place to post their class projects. But it sure looked peculiar at first. lol. |

God forbid that MJS ferocious little etiquette police are unleashed onto these potentially, timid souls. I almost took a bite of 'em myself, but figured someone else might be hungrier than I am for fresh flesh today. |
![]() woodguy32 | January 10, 2007 2:26:11 PM Well that is AWESOME...love seeing this...now to check the students out...Congrats and welcome to MJ... this is great..thanks Drak.. are you a MJ SPY .. or just a knower of all things.. woodie |
![]() drakonis | January 10, 2007 3:01:30 PM Quote by: woodguy32 I know I am not supposed to share this secret knowledge, but I will give you a peek... taken from Chapter 1, page 15 of the "Draconum Compendium", and I translate/quote:this is great..thanks Drak.. are you a MJ SPY .. or just a knower of all things.. "Dragons have many strengths and weaknesses, and usually a single characteristic creates both a strength and a weakness. For example, one of the most well-known characteristics of a dragon is curiosity. Dragons' unusually strong curiosity drives them to seek a moderate knowledge of just about everything. This gives one the impression that dragons are omniscient (see A.C. Clarke's 3rd law relating technology to magic.) However, this blessing is also a curse, as it allows dragons to be easily lured into "Curiosity-traps" (see Appendix C - Dragon Soft Spots). It also causes misconceptions, like the myth about dragons hoarding precious items in their lair. Understanding the "curiosity" drive helps us realize that dragons simply collect puzzles to study for a better understanding of the world around them." Hope this enlightens you a little about a much-maligned poorly understood creature. ttfn, Drakonis |
![]() Macaudion | January 10, 2007 3:27:38 PM I think that we should step beside of our big selves and go show a little support for these guys. I'm commenting on as many as I can, but need to go catch a plane soon. Come on..., help me out guys! Just think what a difference you could make in their day and likely, you would impact their whole life... So be nice!!! Macca |

![]() drakonis | January 10, 2007 4:01:34 PM Quote by: ValleyPastor Hey, if we dragons were all alike, these worlds would be mind-numbingly bland. Variety is the spice of life, the cause of love and war... Cést la vie! (Smirk)Yeah, but if I followed your line of dragon-lore interpretation, it would TOTALLY screw up the direction of the plot of the novel I'm writing. lol I really did enjoy the website, though. Thank you for visiting my site! And see, now you've done it and gotten me all curious... so... what is this novel you're writing? Is it fantasy? Sci Fi? How far along are you? Have you published before? Do you need a proofreader? I can't be a protagonist, but I could be a pro-dragonist :-) I'm honestly interested in your project! ttfn, Drakonis |
![]() rover101 | January 10, 2007 5:52:45 PM Quote by: drakonis Hope this enlightens you a little about a much-maligned poorly understood creature. ttfn, Drakonis You mean them lizards that eat children, burn down villages with a single breath, generally wreak havoc with the rest of the world, and pass precious gems instead of feaces? They're probably best understood from behind an anti-tank missile. Cheers, Shaky('') |
