Dion,

It's you.

You know, the funny thing about MacJams is, at any given time there's someone out there bemoaning how unexciting the place is at the moment, and at the SAME time there's someone out there (you, fer instance) being Mr. Cool Tune Miner.

So, I think some of it's the music that's out there and some of it's what YOU bring to the party...whoever 'you' are...

I think you in particular, Mr. D., travel around with an appreciative, open-minded, open-hearted and wide-ranging mindset...So you are GONNA find some cool music or some cool SOMETHIN'...

No slight to the music and the MacJammers you mention, though. I'm working my way through the list, and it's a good one...

Hey man, I think you're one of the finest people here around. I regularly read your comments on MJ-ers tracks, and they're always extremely creative and heartwarming. Thanks for being here with us, with me.

Walter

Dude I didn't want this to be about me - My part is too easy; all I have to do is show up for the results of some intensly focused work, grab a copy and say thanks - And you're another one those artist that has put out some extremely creative stuff, Walter, so thanks to you too - How could you not love this place! - Peace!

Well, I don't think we should end up masturbating each other here in this forum, Dion. But I'm sure you know what I mean: there's no great music without a great audience. Like most of us I guess, I get highly encouraged by the comments of colleague amateur musicians here on MJ. It might even have become my most important drive to continue making music, and (hopefully) enhancing my skills. Nothing more, but certainly nothing less... After all, this is an international site and - yes you may laugh my dear American friends - being able to play on such a stage, is really someting for a small Belgian guy... So, I just wanted to return my appreciation to you.

Okay, so I get excited about the music here, but it just seems that everyone is just blowing the doors off w/ being creative and putting out some quality stuff lately - I mean really - And all we have to do is say hi! nice job, I'll take one please... -

There is, Thoddi, "blue all over" w/macgalver here
"You're so nice" - colab w/ DirtyWinston by moorlandt here
And PV, "Night Cats" >here So freakn' groovy
The composer, " (No.21)" here this piece is masterfully done
And there is Dreadman and Alannah, "You Can't Make Me Love You" here
And then there's Mungoism (McBoy w/ Mungo) by Mungo here
And "A Second Life" by TEXASFE here -- Made me cry --
And there's, Turning Point KOVIII by Parichayaka here This is just wonderful
Lullaby 4 Aja Coco(Jiguma) here
And then there's Datafunk's new one, Ziti has a great new tune -- EE always has great stuff up - Springclock's new tune is killer - Smokeyvw, a new artist has a host of some great stuff he's posted -- Thetiler, Bug67, Lean, rschletty, Joanna, Charliechen, Ginz111 and Z293; all of these guys have posted some great stuff - I''ve only mentioned what I 've heard and commented on and I didn't leave anyone out on purpose. Mostly, it's just too ridiculous to try and name them all.

Maybe it's just me - I've always, always wanted to work in a record shop, so hanging out here is like a silly little dream come true for me. I get a stupid little buzz when I here good music and in the last couple of days, I've been getting drunk w/ it - It's felt like I've taken in more than my share and I almost feel guilty so I felt compelled to express my grattitude here. I'm getting some great new music and I can't believe that no one else is raving on about the selection here, so if you'd like to take the opportunity, please do so. Everyone deserves it - Thanks for letting me go on like the crazed music fanatic that I'm turning out to be. Peace! - Dion

No, I didn't mean invalidate what you were saying Walter. Sorry about that. I do agree with what you and Ed are saying, 'it is what you bring to the table', I just get a little embarrassed when things get too forcussed on me - But mostly, I think that there are a lot of very cool people on this site and the music is just reflective of that - Not only do I get to hear your gruuvn' music, but I get to virtually rub elbows with you too - That's just very cool - "Small Belgian guy" - I didn't know that you were in Belgium - That's one of the things that makes it more fascinating to me - The peopele and the music is from places that are from all over the big blue marble - Just how much more hip can it get - Very cool! - Thanks Walter

That does look quite strange - Even more strange is the fact that I'm listenting to "Marco" for the third listen - Nice one, Walter - But the particular post, "Sorry folks, I didn't mean that -", it's not a post that was meant to be - Now, I'm not speaking about the original post "Is it just me", I meant every word of that post - I don't think that I'm being clear and I don't know how to be any more clear on this one either - I hope that you're making your way through the murk and that you're posssibly understanding what I'm trying to say, Walter - Thanks - Dion
