I have a similar Ibanez a/e guitar - one step down from yours. Pretty nice instrument and I picked it up on eBay new for $269 (about $200 less than Musicians Friend had it). How do you like yours?

No problem! Thanks for the comment on the guitar. I bought mine for $300 after I waited to be helped a while at guitar center and was given a $50 discount from $350. The guitar is awesome and plays very nice.

you don't have to delete your post, just upload a smaller version with the same name. (ie. overwrite mystudioms6.jpg with one that's, say, 600 pixels wide.)

More power outlets! Also run some undedicated conduit around the room at least one drop on each wall: you'll need to run wires for something extra eventually.

I dont' really have a studio, but here's a corner with some of my instruments.

Folks, this is why I collaborate with Dick. He's the only person I know whose studio is in the same state as mine. Makes me feel so much better about myself. :)

Ok, here's my recorder collection EXCEPT for the bass:



and here are my bass viol, bass recorder and bass guitar. Plus something called a "strat" which I never use.

Every box that's in there is a two gang duplex. There are 8 boxes, so that's 32 plugs. The 8 boxes are going to be served by two separate 20 amp circuits. I think I'm okay on the power front - especially considering that it'll usually just be me, my computer and my e-drums (i.e. only very rarely will I have a band in there with multiple amps and stuff).



Not a bad idea! Even if I can't see me doing anything now, it would be a lot easier at the moment. I figured I'd be okay with cables on the floor since it's just one room (i.e. no dedicated vocal room and so on).

What a difference a couple weeks makes ...
