I am a drummer who thinks he is computer savy. I have seen posts on integrating reason and garageband. How do I do this? I have an old drum machine( Roland) and I a thinking of getting a M-Audio trigger finger. Does this work with garageband? Should i be using Reason over GB? GB is sooooooo easy. My system includes an iControl(m-audio), a Radium 49 MIDI keyboard controller(m-audio), and an UA-20 MIDI interface(Edirol) along with my Roland SPD-6 (OLD!!!!). I dont have 2 grand for an Akai MPC 2000. Is the M Audio Trigger Finger a good choice?? Thanks for your help because I know music but do not know anything about these programs and what is best for my Power Mac G4. SOMEBODY HELP!!! THANKS AGAIN FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS..

March 30, 2006 11:51:49 PM REASON can be "ReWired" to work in conjunction with GarageBand 1, 2 and 3. With both programs open, one "triggers" the other (if "ReWire" is selected in REASON). The control is located at the top of the "Rack". The programs conform to each other's BPM and tempo. When all is said and done, exporting from GB will simultaneously render the audio created in REASON, mixing both to one stereo AIFF. ![]() | |
