A friend of mine at work just picked up a new Mini (core duo). He is running - well, trying to run - Pro Tools 6.9.2. Every time he started it up, it would ask him to download a driver, and refer him to a page. He downloaded a standalone driver, which only made things worse. Now, his machine has a kernel panic upon starting PTLE.
After much reading, it seems that PTLE 6.9 and lower don't run on Intel yet. Has anyone found a workaround?
Thanks.

Have him go to digidesign.com, click on Support, and then on User Conference. If the information he's looking for isn't already available there, it will be after he outlines his situation in a post. |
