so, this is somewhat related to the comments, voting posts. but i'm noticing a weird change in the things on my songs. i'm getting better comments on how it's sounding alot better and the votes are getting lower. the songs with alot of bad feedback seem to get higher votes then the ones with positive feedback. im confused, how does this make sense?

must be, probably those agents screwing with my mind and changing the votes! that's my theory, next thing you know milk will taste like coffee, and buses will be green.

In my opinion... you're probably getting people that are beginning to more regulary come and listen to your music... so they already know what your flaws are and they are now commenting on your improvements rather than telling you the faults you already know about. And at the same time, I reckon people are becomming more honest about voting in your songs... you've been around a bit, people know you better and you're getting promising comments so they're less worried about hurting your feelings or being seen as bombing your scores.

At the same time of course, you havn't gotten more than 10 votes on any of your current songs... and since Nyakki's finished his 30 votes drive... perhaps you should start yours to get some better statistical feedback. Or alternatively, screw the votes and know that you're slowly getting better with practise.

all good points that make sense and i pondered about. well, actually after i get a bit of votes my scores seem to come out about the same. hmm, perhaps i should try and get more votes, tho im not real worried about it. i just find it really funny. it means more that people give me feedback then leave votes ne ways.
