Hello all :P I have Logic Express 7 on my ibook G4 . I want to create an instrument using exs24 sampler . LE7 only has the EXSp24 in the program that will only play the samples and will not let you create new instruments . What Im trying to do is get PropellerHeads recycle to be triggered in logic without rewiring Reason to recycle to logic .My prossesor just cant handle that : ) Sooooo Is there a way or a FREE third party plug in that I can use to get Recycle to trigger on the Midi keys and record into Logic Express 7 ....Or does anybody know of a hack or anyway I can get exs24 into LE7 . That would be Ideal bt I cant seem to get exs24 by itself to download . Any help would be much loved : )

 JONK | September 30, 2008 5:17:37 PM Hi. I'm confused..You don't trigger recycle nor need to have it open when using Reason..I know nothing about Le7.. Don't know if this will help..If the REX file (which i am assuming you are reffering to as recycle ) is in a Refill..For one.. You can not extract it from that refill..Once "Packed" in a Refill,you can not just drag them out.. But the good news is you have other options..Too many for me to mention all of them. You will need to get the REX file sounding how you wish using Dr Rex..You can re-arrange the notes,tune them,apply FX etc,in Reason..Once done export it as an audio loop from Reason..Then open the Apple Loop utility ( jot down the tempo and how many bars it is )..Then create an Apple loop.. Again I don't know anything about what you can and can not do in Le7..So can't be of specific help...But if that works then away you go..Or just export it as an audio file and chop it up in Le7,if that is possible..Then re-arrange the slices were you want them..JONK As an aside here..Since L7 you were no longer able to upgrade or add additional plugins to Logic..Prior to that you could..So you could buy a full version of the EXS24...Not any longer..So what you are most likely encountering are cracked versions of instruments and FX that were add ons (depending on which version of Logic you had ).And they will not work.. Or load in any L7 and onward versions of Logic |
