Thanks for having a look Lisa! Yeah marching band and I were just not meant to be I suppose.... it's okay.... it's all part of the journey.... truth be told it was a good thing.... it allowed me to begin focusing my own identity in music at an earlier age.... I was able to hit the ground running....and they were able to get rid of a complete pain in the arse.... worked out for all parties....besides the school colours were black and orange..... BLACK AND ORANGE!!!! so we always looked like we were dressed for Halloween.... it was gross..... and Halloween is my favorite time of year so I couldn't have that fact ruining it for me.....hehe

thanks man....I know there's always a handful I can count on, yourself included.... but it seems like the ethics from MJ afew years ago have been lost in recent times.....and it's not just my posts and tunes, because I see it happening to others as well and in a very bratty kind of way.... But thanks again man.....you rock....and I still like MJ.... just seems like we need a moral boost of some kind....peace

Okay, so I took my eyes, my ears and my brain over to your website, Ian.

I think I may have only returned with my eyes intact. :lol:

It's a cool site. I like the breezy bio blab that meets the visitor at the gate, although I'm a little dubious about your claim that your parents were gypsies and jackals. (Can I see your papers, please?) And it's organized well, so visitors can easily move to the various sections of interest.

I'm no website designer, but I have been called in on occasion to offer my advertising insights and intuitions regarding such designs. In the case of your website, my instincts tell me you need a stronger pictorial branding at the gate. While you have a group of small, colorful photos beneath your logo, I believe a couple of arty, vertical action photos of you straddling each side of the text would give the page more visual appeal and impact... and give the reader an immediate face to relate to.

The various Sections of your site are, for the most part, neatly arranged, but somewhat uninspired. The blocky Video section, in particular, reminds me a bit of the set of *Hollywood Squares*. :lol:

If you don't have a budget for an experienced Art Director, you might try to get a local college art class to take it on as a project. Or, you might ask around here. There are plenty of experienced Art Director-level MacJammers who might be willing to give you some tips.

One other important point before i get to the music... I can't stress enough how important it is to be true to your word. You speak of your sense of commitment in your bio; in your blog you declare: "Don’t worry....I’ll keep this place up to date."

Make sure you do. There's nothing worse than visiting a website with similar declarations, only to find nothing new has been posted there in several years. Don't undermine your own credibility. Integrity counts on numerous levels. ;)

Okay, as I warned you, your genre of music is NOT a favorite of mine. Despite that fact, I gave healthy auditions to as many tunes available on the built-in player as I could humanly bear. :mrgreen:

I have NO idea what makes songs in this genre commercially successful, so all I can speak to is the level of musicianship and production. In both cases, it is at a very high level. I find your work to be less derivative than most in this genre and interestingly inventive in subtle ways.

The SCW tunes offer a rich variety of musical feels, approaches and textures. I personally like and appreciate that kind of diversity and versatility.

I hope there's something in my observations that you might find useful, Ian. I, for one, appreciate the kind of dedication you exhibit and admire the amount of work you put into your craft. The very best of luck to you, my friend. ;)
