Many fans of the MACJAMS PODCAST have asked when more will be coming. Since ADMIN has not kept up by posting them under the PODCAST heading, I've decided to incorporate the backlog of podcasts within the MINING THE DATABASE series (in which I highlight music from the MJ archives). Specifically, these posts include PODCASTS that were supposed to be included in the lagging podcast series:

Folk/Folk-Rock - Vol. 6 - including Podcast #6
Folk/Folk-Rock - Vol. 7 - including Podcast #28
Folk/Folk-Rock - Vol. 8 - including Podcast #4
Rock Music - Vol. 10 - including Podcast #10: Pop, Pop-Rock & Electro-Pop
Rock Music - Vol. 11 - including Podcast #5: Mainstream & Hard Rock
Rock Music - Vol. 12 - including Podcast #27 (DJ'd by echoroom)
Rock Guitar Gods of MacJams - including Podcast #17 (El. Gtr. Solos)

Plus, the 2 CBGBs Podcasts are posted here: CBGB_Demos PODCASTS 1 & 2

BTW, the best podcast DJ/host is echoroom (#27). I posted his today. Just click on MUSIC BLOG. I wish he could have done more!

More "unreleased" MJ PODCASTS will be included with the posting of genres still not yet added, including Blues, Soul/Funk, Hiphop, World, MJ from Japan, the Women of Macjams, MJ Political Protest Music, Fingerstyle Guitar, and more.

We appreciate your efforts so much Mr. Tobin. Since I started my holiday, I'll try to keep up with the coming podcast as much as I can.

Can a person/artist do his own playlist and it will be posted/featured in MJ's playlists?

Too bad about the rschletty cave-in that occurred when you were mining the database. I regret doing that. I am rebuilding my underground song chamber.

Thanks for doing this, Tobin. Are you accepting video Podcasts for consideration? I just posted one here in the Forum -- My Home Long Ago.

The software can show them, but I haven't tried. Cool idea... Is there a thread that posts MJers' videos so I can see a bunch for consideration?

Two things about the music player used in the BLOGS:

It works on iPhones.

It makes tracks sound better than the music player used on the song pages. The sound is both louder and crisper. I have no idea why... but I hope Simon takes note.
