Greetings, fellow MacJammers. Haven't been here actively in a while, but I have a good reason: I have a new CD that's just been released! I got to work with recording engineer, Jon Altschiller of Chiller Sound in NYC and he can spin ProTools like nobody's business! It's an album of my own compositions for the synagogue--it's for Cantor, Choir, and Pipe Organ. Digitally it's available at Digstation, and very soon it will be up at CDbaby.com. It's called, "Teach My Lips a Blessing," and I'm very happy and proud to share the good news with all! More information is at http://contzius.com
Thanks!
Erik

samxcor3 | May 27, 2008 10:14:20 PM Quote by: Cantor Good news! The cd is now out and available right here: http://cdbaby.com/cd/contzius I have not given a listen, but if my understanding is correct this is basically original worship music? or is it like you singing and doing other people's songs? if it's the former, props to you. i think it's awesome when people write gospel songs or classical songs, since you always hear the same thing. |
![]() Cantor | May 28, 2008 5:48:06 AM This is all original music I've composed for the synagogue. Thanks for the props! So I sing on the CD and I've written all the compositions. I'm with you--we need to bring new voices to old prayers. This is my effort. And other good news: I've already had to send a second helping o' CD's to CDBaby.com--sold out the first go around! :) erik |
