I knew it had to be there, somewhere. A while ago I posted a query about midi triggering within DP. So I was just perusing the plug-ins folder, and there it was. 'Trigger'.

Something about DP's mixer has a bit of magic in the sound, and their MasterWorks EQ is totally wonderful. Plus, when you need some kind of advanced midi, it's not usually there in Tracktion. That said T3 has a pretty damn good sound, the compressors in particular are great and they've got a very good on-board reverb (costs in CPU). And T3 is SIMPLE, whereas DP is just simpler than Cubase or Logic, which isn't saying much. They have one thing in common, though; really good manuals (T3's is a 4hr vid, DP's a 1,000 page behemoth), well organised with good indexes (I have a major beef about GB in this respect, there seems to be all sorts of hidden features you need to buy a book to find).
