I realize I've been here for some time without a bio, so here goes. I'm a marketing consultant and graphic designer in Chicago. I've played guitar since about 1990 but never took it seriously until recently. I'm new to ideas of songwriting and music/sound production, but find both fascinating. I credit the accessibility of Garage Band with opening a whole new creative outlet for me. My musical influences are fairly broad, ranging from NIN and Metallica to Dead Can Dance, Stevie Ray Vaghan, Peter Gabriel, and even a little Coltrane.
