about A retired primary school teacher, I now teach drama, voice and self-esteem skills in the beautiful English Cotswolds. My longtime friend - 14 years - Rebsie, introduced me to this site. I originally recorded two numbers coz it seemed mean to criticise others without having a go myself - I'm having great fun and have been fortunate enough to be able to do some collaborations as well! My other love is our local theatre This theatre company and this theatre!!! (where I met Rebsie) where I teach, act and direct. I am a keen gardener and potter - both with and without clay - and I consider myself to be a bit nifty with a camera an' all! In November, 2005 I was proud to host the first macjammers convention. It was attended by macjammers comdotdom, epileptic gibbon, rebsie, slimgirlfat, stevel and me - we were joined by peter1 and peter2 and sarah who are not macjammers .... yet!! any songs listed below as being with the bawdies are the result the those marvellous 'pfs' sessions! rebsie and stevel made the most fabulous recording of scarborough fair on the same day - you should find that by heading in this direction Rebsie. then, in April 2006, we did it all again!! you can find out about MJ UK 2006 here!!! the pencil king of mj - alimar - asked me to do a narration for his marvellous Glorb The Magnificent here - that was such fun and i also joined some of the other ladies of macjams in a collab for valentine's day 2006 that was organised by pyrofly-and you'll find that here! drakonis is making a collection of a variety of interpretations of his piece called 'Ember' - here is my take on it which he mixed so beautifully .... Ember and the same wonderful drakonis wrote a piece which he named after my bear - what a sweetheart!!! that great bit of ragtime is here! and .... now i have a fabby collab with the wonderful alfalpha at this place! - please pop over and listen - imho - the man is a walking miracle - he won't thank me for saying that either!!! and.... that first collab with alfalpha has turned into a band in it's own right!! BareKoala ..... enjoy!! Find this artist in drop-down:

musicbackgroundi grew up with my parent's record of Oklahoma!!! my teens were spent listening and singing along to Peter, Paul and Mary, The Weavers, Beatles, old Buddy Holly 45's. i was a member of a youth club and had two tame guitarists of my very own for several years - yummy!! s'good to be back singing again!!!

musicskillshahaha!! i play a 3/4 size folk guitar neither wisely nor too well. i can shake a shaker and sometimes i can keep the beat! My kazoo playing skills, however, are second to none!! i sing!! i do it at least one octave lower than most ... my music teacher at school thought i was doing it on purpose and threw me out of the class - baggage!!!

user_computeri am the proud and happy owner of ginny my G4 iBook - she and i have been together since early december, 2005 and every day is a joy and a challenge - i don't do technicals!

music_hardwareabove mentioned geetar, several kazoos in a variety of colours and some other shaking stuff!!
