I'm a former radio station production director and music director, television voice-over artist and audio production studio owner/operator. I now teach at a state university and am a sound designer/producer for a television program we telecast from the university.

musicbackgroundMy father was a classical music professor for more than 40 years. Took the usual lessons as a kid. I've co-produced a number of advertising jingles with a friend. I began experimenting with Garage Band to fill a void in our TV program. We needed a theme and music cues but we had no budget and no BMI or ASCAP license for Cablecasting.

musicskillsI play autoharp and I play washboard, but I don't play around.

music_hardwareI have the remains of a commercial recording studio including a small Mackie Mixer, some microphones and some JBL monitors as well as some outboard processors, but my music has all been done in the G5, the mini and the g3
